- A Center activities report
- Updates from current and new AMTAS PIs about their research
- Review of the April 12 AMTAS meeting brainstorming sessions with industry participants
- Discussion of potential future research and training topics
Outcomes of Research/Education Topics Discussion
There was vigorous discussion of potential new research and short course topics .
The following topics appeared to be of most interest (not in priority order):
- Control of cure procedures during repair
- Long-term durability
- Facesheet delamination–internal pressures
- Over-cooked parts–heat degradation
- Systematic study of variability
- FEA short course—include optimization and real-world case studies
