The Center of Excellence for Advanced Materials in Transport Aircraft Structures (AMTAS) is hosting the 2016 FAA Joint Advanced Materials and Structures (JAMS) Center of Excellence Technical Review Meeting. This year’s meeting is being held once again in conjunction with AA&S 2016, the Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment Conference. This schedule minimizes travel to both meetings as well as provides the opportunity for JAMS and AA&S attendees to interact.
The goal of the JAMS Technical Review is to inform regulators, industry and academia about current research projects conducted by the center and to gain feedback that will help drive future JAMS research and training developments.
The annual technical meetings are one of the major methods that regulators, industry and academia use to share ideas about current industry needs. Anyone interested in supporting these initiatives is encouraged to attend the upcoming technical meeting.
The technical review is being held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. It will held in the afternoons of Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
